So apparently this programming works or it did for me!
    Power clean – 61kg, up from 57.5kg
Back squat – 80kg, up from 72.5kg which was a number I had as a hard barrier in my head. Awesome to prove I can do more with decent form!
    Bench – 45kg up from 42.5kg
Dead lift – 130kg up from 125kg which is awesome not to mention how easy they felt during warm up from 90 to 115kg!

  • Amanda C says:

    PC 50kg.
    BS 82kg. 2kg PR
    Bench 35kg. Almost had 40kg
    DL 115kg. 5kg PR

  • Ivan L says:

I also reaped the rewards of the strength cycle. PBs in all 4 lifts.
    PC – 95 from 92
    BS – 135 from 132
    BP – 95 from 93
    Deadlift – 165 from 162.
Also went back a year or two and noted that most of my lifts have gone up by 30-40%. Really gives me a psychological boost to look back at the long term gains.
Worked with Jimmy again for this session. Pretty sure he also got at least 3 PBs.
Hoping I see some gains on the next cycle, especially shoulder presses.

  • David N says:

    Power Clean 75kg.

    Bench Press 70kg. 75kg didn’t go anywhere.

Back Squat 105kg. Made 3 attempts at 110kg but I didn’t even budge out of the bottom of the squat.

    Deadlift 150kg.
    Total 400kg

  • […] Saturday just past we retested the CrossFit Football Total and the results, well they were pretty obvious. Most […]

Didn’t get to do the initial testing and missed the first week of the cycle but lots of new numbers regardless.
PC. 46kg. Special thanks to Karl for giving me a confidence boost after I had failed it twice.
    BS 62.5kg
    BP 37.5kg
DL 100Kg. Previous max was 90. Think I had a bit more in me but by that time it was well past coffee o clock.
    fun day!
