A: pull-up VOL

10 min EMOM:

  • focus: 1-5 strict pull-ups (pronated grip)
  • filler: 3 sit-ups + 3 push-ups + 3 squats (in any order)

B: the [Rad Mega] – as so named by Sarah Lacey (Cav)

For 30 mins:

  • Every even minute (starting at 0:00): 4 snatches @ 60/40kg (or 60% of your max snatch)
  • Every odd minute: 5 Toes 2 Bar + 10 box jumps

    A. 4 pullups, 3 of everything else.
    B. Well I’m not going to use a word like “rad” and subject myself to the merciless bullying of my kids. So, it was “good”. I did 40kg which is a whole kilogram higher than 60% of my 1RM.
    Best part for me is that after the first round Ben encouraged me to (re)try doing kipping(?) T2B and it came together pretty well, so that I could knock them off and have more rest than otherwise. First one was always pretty sloppy. And it’s a bit harder on the hands – didn’t tear, but my hands were stinging when I first got in the shower.
