  • 1RM Clean and Jerk

Conditioning

  • “Grace”
  • 30 Clean and Jerks for time 60/40
  • To complete the workout RX you need a Clean and Jerk of at least 100/70, otherwise work at 50% of max Clean and Jerk

    A: worked up to 100kg C&J, stopped there due to what was next. Jerk was a little untidy.

    B: first time doing RX Grace, finished 3:27 which is only 5 secs slower than my last effort at 55kg. Pretty happy with my session this morning.

    A- worked on jerk from rack, 40kg or somewhere around there. Elbows dipping
    B- 2.39 mins 25kg did 17 squat/thruster and then slowed to squat/ press. Thanks coach Sean and for the coffee afterwards

    Sorry for not posting up, went to my other work after and forgot.
    A. Hit 100kg with Rosey which at 6am I didn’t think was too bad!!
    B. New PR of 2:13 RX

    Bummed to have not been able to do this. Love C&j and have still not had a crack at Grace.
    Did 30 power snatches @25kg for time. 1.50 mins.
    My training is as much about practicing patients as anything else at the moment!

    max last time was 50kg but couldnt get there today… got stuck at 45kg.
    did grace @ 25kg finished 2.15

    Sorry for the delay in posting. I must confess I haven’t been posting at all lately. I’ll fix that now…

    A: worked up to 70kg. Tried 75kg, couldn’t manage the jerk. Out of practice, since I’ve been inconsistent and away from training for quite a while.

    B: worked at 37.5kg, finished in 2:13 (I think…)
