The post 830am crew, thanks guys and girls!

Move: 1,000kg (guys) / 600kg (girls) in each of the following movements –

  • Snatch (any type – from the floor)
  • Clean & Jerk (any type – from the floor)
  • Back Squat (take the bar from the floor)
  • Deadlift

You decide what weight to lift for each BUT you must increase the weight for each by a minimum of:

  • Athletes must also change their own bars

It’s a fast workout today aimed at keeping your technique perfect and fluid through a variety of movements

  • First!

7:45, 40-50-70-100, awesome workout and support crew this morning, thanks for making it super cruisy and fun everybody!

  • Leanne says:

First time doing this and was not thinking I would finish ( struggling to breathe due to bad hayfever )… BUT I DID!!
Thanks Amanda (smash clash buddy) and encouragement from everyone as always 👊

Coach James did a great job ( but he does talk really fast… Or maybe it was just that it wasn’t my usual session and too early😩)

  • PaulT says:

It was my first crack at this WOD. It was an interesting one. I did it with 40/50/60/100 in 11:11.
Thanks to Jimmy and Rosie for keeping me on the straight and narrow.

  • Amanda C says:

Finished in 11mins, 20-30-35-45. Last time I did this in August I timed out after the back squats, so happy to finish it today.
Was my first time training with my smash clash barbelle buddy Leanne who encouraged me to keep moving when the cleans got gassy.
Well done Coach James – was a great session and more importantly an awesome coffee.

  • Steve-o says:

First time doing this WOD so didn’t know what to expect.
Stuck to the 40/50/60/100 method and finished in 8:48 – I chilled a lot in the first two movements but know what to expect in the future 🙂
