    I’m both pleased and disappointed. 2.5kg total PB, but didn’t get to any of the individual movement PBs I’ve hit recently. I blame the flu (again). Still not completely right so I feel like I’ve lost some of the edge I had a month ago, when I felt great. But I suppose this shows I haven’t gone too far back. As the song goes “Always look on the bright side of life.”

    I haven’t tested this for year so happy to go up from 170kg total to 212kg today. I got a 2kg PR for my backsqaut (77kg) and the strict press (30kg) and deadlift (105kg) were close to previous maxes.

    Last time I did CFT (Dec 2013) I got:

    65kg (pb at the time was 70kg)
    31kg (first time setting a 1rm)
    100kg (again first time setting a 1rm)
    Total of 196kg

    This time I got:

    75kg (current 1rm is 80kg….failed 81kg 3 times)
    32kg (current 1rm is 33kg, I got 32.5 but was super wonky so didn’t count it. ..dropped back down to 31kg and then got 32kg)
    105kg (current 1rm is 112.5kg…was getting nowhere near that today, failed 105kg 3 times before I nailed it)
    Total: 212.

    a bit disappointed but I have only managed to make 3 sessions so far this month thanks to work commitments and illness, so to be honest I didn’t expect anything too fancy to happen anyway. Happy that I still beat my last CFT attempt by 16kg even though I didn’t get any new PRs.

    No PB’s but an improve on Total from 220 to 228.5. Happy with that considering still struggling with sore shoulder.
