In honour of Chief Petty Officer Nate Hardy, who was killed Sunday February 4th during combat operations in Iraq

20 Minute AMRAP of:

  • 2 Muscle Up’s
  • 4 HSPU’s
  • 8 Overhead Kettlebell Swings (32/24kg)

Coaches Notes:

  • Muscle Up subs are Jump Through M/Up’s or C2B (supine grip)
  • HSPU sub will be Push Up’s

    Did MUs as jump-throughs, and full-depth kipping HSPU, and 32kg KB which was damn heavy!!! Got to 5 rounds and 6 KB swings. Given that I only worked on jump-throughs for the first time the other week, and don’t normally go full depth for the HSPUs, I was pleased with this. Gonna feel it tomorrow, though…

    Jump throughs, push-ups, 28kgs KB
    Kipping on the top is not working for me atm. Need to work that. KB were getting better

    Modified workout for me today. Ring rows, box push ups and 16kg KB. Got through 17 rounds + 4 p/ups. Felt really positive after being in my head too much this week.

    Looks fine on paper, but a world of hurt in practice. 10 Rds flat. Good to see Ben M finally getting MUs – about time. I’d like to think it was the warm up run smack talk that got him there.
