  • Sharon Simonsen says:

Really glad I came, even though my things were still aching. I love the feeling I get after working out, I love coming to Adapt each day and I feel like something is missing when I take time out.

I was aiming for anything over 10 rounds. Super happy to end up with 14 rounds and 4 push ups. The squats nearly killed me, but Fee was great and kept pushing me.

Awesome to have Coach Craig, it’s a rareity for us!

  • David N says:

    17 rounds + 7 Squats.
Singles for the power cleans, push ups started good but mostly sets of 3 after the first round.

  • Jason says:

    20 rounds + 3 Push Ups.

Great working with Ivan this morning – man he was super consistent!

  • Brendo says:

Bring tha noize!! Bellowed and grunted my way through 18 rounds + 2 power cleans. Last time I did this, it was 16 rounds plus a little bit.

  • Ray Simonsen says:

    15 Rounds and 2 Squats.

I don’t think it was too bad an effort. I was nursing my back still slightly and didn’t want to go too hard too early and slam up against the wall for a 20 minute workout…
It was great to work with Coach Coops too.

  • Fee says:

    18 rounds plus 3 P/C.
What a session. This was tough but awesome. Stoked as push ups are finally getting better.
    Great working with Sharon!!!!

  • Mark says:

Good to have Craig at the early morning sessions. I got 15 rounds + 6 pushups. Given I’ve had most of the last two weeks off with illness and injury I’m not unhappy with that.

  • Ivan L says:

Wondered who the new coach with the funny accent was for a while this morning, but then I finally woke up (it is early morning after all).

I must confess to feeling a little nervous watching the 5:30 class finish off. I wasn’t sure if I wanted to just get it over and done with or put it off as long as possible. A quick round of paper-scissors-rock with Jason settled it and off I went. 20 rounds and 6 PU for me. I’m pretty happy with that, especially my consistency. Started every round but the first on the pushups. 4 sets on every round. Really pleased that I feel like I’ve reached a point where 60kg power cleans are manageable.
Hope everyone has a good Easter break. I’m looking forward to some rest and recuperation.

P.S. Glad Sharon cleared up which of her “things” were aching.

  • Kylie says:

Finished 13 rounds plus 1 power clean. Pretty equal to where I finished last time I did the chief but with a huge improvement in my push-up form with only a small bend of the hips on the way up. Nay was no-repping me and even took a video to show me how much I was moving (I thought I was more solid). Felt close to legit and can’t wait to be able to claim Rx in a push-up workout! It’s coming 🙂

  • Amanda C says:

10 rounds and 5(?) PUs. Happy that I could manage the 40kg cleans ok and kept the same number of reps in each 3min round. Looking forward to some rest and recovery over easter.

  • Cindyd says:

18rounds + 3 PC….push ups on my knees, to take the pressure off. With a rounds or two to go, Coach Craig dropped me back to parallel squats as I was starting to lean to one side, obviously my quad was starting to reach its limit.
Coach Craig was pumped with an awesome music mix to match, loved this session, Happy Easter everybody.

  • James says:

Love The Chief. Great workout. 22 Rds and 2 PC. Funnily the pushups were okay (i broke into 3s from the start) but the squats were murder!

Gotta give super big props to KJ, my training buddy today. 26 rds + 3 PU and onto the board of fame. Congrats and well earned 🙂

    • KJ says:

Thanks James! It was good to work with you- for the second time this week! 🙂
Thanks too to coach Craig for yelling at me. No, really!!!! Love it. Enjoyed this workout – in a sick/ twisted kind of way.

  • Karl Buchhorn says:

This workout looked like a bunch of fun! Inspiring watching everyone kick some ass this morning. Subbed it out for a 5km row. Hopefully back to moving some barbells around in the near future. Enjoy the long weekend y’all

  • zacbax says:

Finished this one with 18 rounds + 1 power clean. Every 3 minutes was basically 3 and a bit rounds for me then I got 4 and a bit in the last 3. Enjoy these longer slog it out wods

  • Heinex says:

24 rounds + 3 PCs. Inspiration- “Cackling Coops behind me” Not bad for an old guy eh Coops?

Thanks for looking after my lumbar Coach “bah-bah-oink” I mean Woolham. 🙂

  • Hannah says:

14 rounds plus 6 push ups, 30kg cleans

  • Steve-o says:

Great to partner up with Kayla, like the energiser bunny she never gave up and was great support for my turn – thanks for the push and support!
Ended with 21 rds and 1 clean (plus another on/after the buzzer… doh)
The lawlers were on fire tonight, great to watch Kenny smash it and Ewen stumble over sheepishly after nailing 27 rds – I wanna be like him when I’m all big and matured!

  • TessaW says:

So physio says I have strained my quad, so unfortunately I did not do full depth squats tonight. Ended up with 17 rounds and 6 pushups. The squats were also pretty slow as anything too deep or too fast was aggravating the leg.
Feeling improvements on my power cleans though. Actually managing to catch them properly and not lean back to get them.

  • Leanne says:

    I loved the chief❤️

Finished 10 rounds plus 3 push ups… 63 solid, legit push ups!

MASSIVE THANKS to Coach Craig for being his usual supportive, energetic and loud self at the 6pm class despite being up since about 4am #thatsmycoach #craigspeaksfunny #respect

  • PaulT says:

The Chief is a tough bugger. I made 18 rounds and 6 push ups which I’m reasonably happy with.

  • Jesse m says:

    Loved every minute
