    B) PR – 11:41 RX
    PB by a few minutes. This was my first ever benchmark, back then I had to use a blue band and I only did 16kg russian swings.
    last time we did helen I didn’t finish in a 13 minute time cap(and very very nearly dropped a kettle bed on my head in front of about 4 coaches)… improvement huh?

    C) I really liked this. I missed 1 rep but loved the song and clean combo. 100% better than proper Sally!

    A. Worked with Adrian and I think we both improved ever so slightly. A couple of times I had genuine balance and held it for a few seconds. I’ll call that a win.

    B. 3rd time I’ve done Helen. 3rd time I’ve been going great guns for 2 and a half rounds. I’m not sure of previous times, but I’m happy with my 9:26 today. But, like Steve O, I’m still tired 3 hours later.

    C. Roxanne. Perhaps I’m just a grumpy old man, but unlike many of the young folk I lived through the 80s with only two top 40 radio stations to listen to. So I’m no fan of Roxanne and this didn’t help. The fact that I was still in T-rex mode after Helen and could barely tie my shoelaces didn’t bode well for my performance. But seriously, I do find the workout to a song idea fun. Pearl Jam anyone?.

    A: Starting to get some more balance with the free stands.

    B: Finished this in 11:37. Was the first lot of pullups that I have done in about 2 months so I was happy to get through in under 12 minutes.

    C: This was a killer with forearms that were already smoked from Helen.

    Like everybody else, feel like I should just go back to bed for the day after this WOD…

    A: love handstands! Found it hard to focus on “hollowing out” and balancing at the same time. Something to work on!

    B: I am still not fully recovered from a bout of tonsillitis earlier this week so I took it super easy on this one, runs were slow and paced, broke the kettle bells in half and did 2-3 pull ups at a time. Didn’t quite finish the 2nd round, would have liked to get further but I am ok with that. Any other day I would have tried harder, but didn’t want to push too hard. First time doing Helen.

    C: this was really fun! I enjoyed it! I scaled to 30kg which was definitely too easy for me, could have done 40kg (May have missed a few though) but as above, didn’t want to push too hard. Didn’t miss any “Roxanne’s”

    A: still need to work on my handstands

    B: PRed 10 seconds faster and knocked it over in 9:33

    C: ever since I found out Andy summers uses multi effects pedals I decided I didn’t like the police, and the “Roxane” WOD didn’t do them any favours

    B. didn’t finish in time, 5 pullups to go….grr….on orange and yellow bands, getting there.

    Like Steve O, this was my first ever WOD, did dunno w/ kettle bell but not overhead and was light, and ring rows….next time gotta be real pull-ups!!

    C. LOOVED IT!
