Hope you all had a great weekend! We've got a fair bit of news to get through with some changes that will effect sessions as soon as tonight (Monday) . So let's get into it…
1:1 Foundation movement sessions
Have you been coming to workouts but you're not 100% on CrossFit's 9 fundamental movements? Fundamental move ah… what? Do you even know what they are? If you don't or you've been training with us for a while and are struggling to get that perfect OH squat, can't quite manage 20 kipping pull-ups, want to progress to muscle-ups and handstand push-ups than this is for you. Sean and I are about to start offering 1:1 Coaching that covers CrossFit's 9 fundamental movements (the squats/the presses/deadlifts, etc.) as well as in depth instruction for other key movements. 1:1 Foundation movement sessions will cost $200 and include 4x1hr sessions*

Changes to Monday nights
Monday nights have been set as a 'Girls only' session for as long as we can remember. Problem is we've been struggling to get any more than 3 girls (sometimes 2) to each session. At these sessions we really give the girls a chance to dial in their technique and develop strength. Sean and I care about all our girls progressing but it's tough to justify the time we dedicate when the ratio runs to 2 trainers to 1 client. This has lead us to open up the Monday night sessions to everyone. So, as of this Monday (tonight/11th Oct) guys are welcome to come along at 8pm session. We will be more than happy to look at the possibility of running a girls only session should the need arise in the future but for the time being this decision is based purely on numbers and as such the Tuesday night boy's 'club' session will remain as it is.
Bookings for Saturday morning sessions
Starting from this week you'll need to book into our Saturday morning session. Please do this via the website no later than a Thursday night, as Sean picks up gear (for Saturdays) @ the Friday morning session. There is no cap on the amount of people who can attend, this will just ensure we have enough gear for everyone to workout with – otherwise, it's 100 burpees as your workout! 🙂 Just joking… but seriously… Book a spot @ this Saturday's Lennox Gardens Session now. Bookings are just for Saturday mornings at this stage so we'll give it a try and see how it goes….
Adapt is looking for a new space
Just a heads up to let you know we're actively looking for a new spot to run workouts from. Nick, Melissa & C3 Church Belconnen have been extremely accommodating to host our Belconnen sessions. But now it's time for Adapt to step it up, get out and stand on our own two feet. We're currently looking at a number of locations in Belconnen and Mitchell but you can be sure we'll keep you posted if we find one. On a side note: if you're soemone who may know someone that knows someone with some space: holla and let us know…
