5×5 Back Squat @ 75%, rest 60 sec.

-then-

  • 1 min AMRAP Jerks 85/55 – no break
  • 100 burpees (10 min cap) – no break
  • 1 min AMRAP Jerks 85/55

  1. A: 120Kg – may have gone a little light.

    B: shoulder has been arcing up all week rather than destroy it I subbed a 2500m row in. Keep working on my capacity and baby the shoulder so I can keep on training.

    Massive effort by everyone in the 6:30 am crew to decimate that workout.

    This was session 16 for the month and I started the month with the aim of hitting every session I’d booked in for so I’m happy with that.

  2. A: 35kg, could have gone up but was still good and left me feeling a little light headed.

    B:
    - 9 reps @ 25kg,
    - 85 burpees – was aiming for at least 80 so am really happy with this. Left 5 seconds to rest after the last one and got ready for the jerks
    - 8 reps @ 25kg, could possibly have gone a little heavier here, was still hard but would like to challenge myself a bit more next time

    Overall happy with todays workout :)

    B. 9 split jerks (7 first min 2 in the last)
    6.35 for the burpees from memory (lost my bit of paper).

  4. A: 5×5 @ 70kgs.

    B:
    - 11 push jerks in the first minute @ 45kgs.
    - 100 burpees (8.33).
    - 4 split jerks in the final minute @ 45kgs.

    100 is a lot of burpees.

  5. A: 5 x 5 @ 120kg – kept it light – still feeling a bit precious about my back

    B: – 5 jerks @ 85kg
    – 100 burpees – 8:27
    – 4 jerks @ 85kg

    Tough.
    Good working with Ben W this morning – added inspiration to push just that little bit harder

    B: 70kg Split Jerk

    - 100 burpees (9.45 – wore a 10kg vest)
    - 5 x split jerk

    Tough, enjoyed the grind.

  8. 55kg felt bad … I can normally do heavier. I am a little sick with a cold at the moment.

    Did 12 push jerks @ 30kg
    Did burpees in 9.15 pretty happy with this as I am not feeling 100%
