3 rounds + 5 Power Cleans @ 50Kg

3 rounds + 5 power cleans @ 50kg.
Really happy with my T2B effort today. First time actually doing them properly, not just knees to waist! The trade-off is that my right hand a bit shredded.
Also, good stuff PeteO. Massive effort
2 rounds + 4 power cleans – Rx’d
Felt like I got owned by this one. It got heavy so much faster than I expected (like rep 2) so couldn’t get any rhythm going with the weights & then spent the T2B trying to recover.
55kg – 2rds + 3rd round of barbell work and 11 T2B.
4 T2B in the fourth round. Scaled all lifts to 50kg.
Split jerks was where I struggled most. Grip slowed me down on T2B also, just couldn’t hang on.
2 rounds + barbell work + 15 T2B @ 70kg.
Split jerks ended up with a bit of press in them, but other technique was OK. Thanks to all the guys in the 6:30am crew for the positive comments and great working with you Andy.
2 rounds with 50kg but front squat were doing something to my back so 3rd set complete at 40 and started 4th with 3 cleans.
Shoulders are feeling that one…
40kgs, 3 rounds + 2 power cleans, front squats are the struggle, a few of the jerks were a bit pushed out, have to really commit to the jerk which was hard with multiple reps…
Or maybe it was 2 rounds….
3 rounds complete plus 7 reps into 4th @ 83 kg , mistake with the bar , so a unrxd !!
4 rounds with 40kg.
T2B were good, started with a set of 10 then the rest in sets of 5
Split Jerk was the hardest movement, maybe could have managed a little more weight but my max is 55kg so doing AMRAP with much more than 40kg would be really tough. This was hard enough thanks.
Made it to 1 squat into the 4th round with 50kgs and doing knees to elbows. That was one big workout and battling to keep the bar up to save having to clean it again was tough.
Really noticing that missing doing squats in the last programming round is being a big limiter.
16 T2B in 4th round. Found the squats the hardest of the lifts (knees coming in). Scaled lifts to 35kg, T2B were legit (oh my hands!)
Good workout, now rest until Tough Mudder on Sunday, w00t!
3 rounds + 1 jerk, 62kgs. Jerks were intimidating at that weight and I couldn’t maintain any rhythm in the T2B. Power cleans and squats were OK. Nice work from Trent who did the first set at 62 KG and decided it wasn’t hard enough, went up 5. That’s commitment.
Next stop: Tough Mudder!
Got to 1st front squat in the 5th round. Did it super light today (30kg) as have been feeling pretty beat and recovery has been shocking lately.
My attempts at T2B were shocking as still feeling the pain from a little bitch known as Annie.
Worked with 50kg managed 4 rnds + 5 split jerks
