    Deadlifts – managed 55kg 1xRM

    “Annie” – I was scaled today because I’m a gumby and a long way to go with fitness:

    150 singles – 30 situps
    100 singles – 20 situps
    50 singles – 10 situps

  2. A) 182.5kg small PB

    B) 8:54- 1 minute faster than last time. Woohoo

  3. A). 155kg PB up from 142.5kg
    B) 8.43 PB by a massive 3 seconds. But I’ll take it. Don’t remember the abs hurting so much last time.

  4. A) 105kg – 5kg below PB and it was a massive struggle. Just wasn’t feeling it and psyched myself out this morning.

    B) Got to 18DU in the 30 round. Was happy with this – managed to string 7 or 8 together at one stage which is a massive improvement for me. I’m going to finish it next time!

  5. A: 220kg (equal PB), failed @ 230kg – had it moving but dropped it – next time

    B: 7:31 – PB – DU’s good but sit ups could be quicker

  6. A: 160kg PB up from 150kg, kept failing 170kg – form just goes to crap and was trying to lift with my back.

    B: Scaaaled, squats instead of DU’s. started at 40 -> 10. 7:13

  7. smashed PB all over tonight for me
    A: 190kg my old PB was 147.5 (see what i mean a smashing). when i ripped 140kg off the ground like it was nothing i knew i was going to beat my PB.

    B: i did Annie in 6:21 and if i recall last time i did it in 6:47 so that was a smashing too. it was also awesome getting my name on the board as one of the top 3 guys, even if it was only there for 10 min (good work ben)

    tonight was a great night i also gotta say thanks to the coaches, its pretty cool when your coach is just as pumped for your PB as you are.

  8. A: 180kg – moved 190 off the ground but wasn’t feeling it.

    B: Made it 11 reps into the round of 30 situps.

    Managed 150kg (PB) dead lift – I waws thinking i would only get around 100 – 120 so stoked that I got this… Think I’ll work on form before I try to go any higher though.

    Annie: DNF but 17 sit-ups in the round of 20. so only the round of 10 to go! which is still a huge improvement – I only ever got to the 30s last time I believe… i want to blame the skipping rope that got caught in my shoe lace and undid my shoe for the fail but that’s a stretch…

    B) 7.53 for Annie . Also a pb ! Good workout .

  11. A. PB. 102.5kg really happy last crossfit total I was at 96kg couldn’t get the 100 :)
    B.7.50 shins are pretty sore now.

  12. A: 150kg, upped my PB from 135kg. Very happy.
    B: Finished on 11 situps into the round of 30. Next time around will surely have DU’s dialled and hopefully get a time down.

  13. A. PB. 175kg. Attempted 180kg bit didnt get the bar up.

    B. DNF – injured ankle on the set of 30 DUs. That said,was second attempt at linking DUs together and got out a few sets of 10. Pretty happy with that.

    Lesson for me – stop when there is pain. Look after yourself. Dont be a hero. Thanks BenW for the ice.

  14. A:-) 130kg PB. Not great but it didn’t even move off the ground on the first attempt.

    B:-) 9:45. Actually managed to string together a few double unders. Abs are going to be sore tomorrow.

  15. A. First time doing 1RM dead lift. Did 95kgs and stoked!!! Tried 100kg but failed. Thanks Sean for reassurance and offering to pay for back surgery ;-)
    B. DNF. Finished up on 10 DUs on the 20s round.
    Bummed to not finished. Will be buying a skipping rope tomorrow to learn to dominate DUs!

  16. DL: 145kg PB (2*BW). Haven’t done 1RM before.

    Annie: 8:29 PB. Did 9:22 on 24th July. Got a string of 18 DUs in the round of 30, which is probably a PB. Thanks Ben for yelling at me to keep doing situps.

  18. A) 60kg pleased with that as it’s heavier than when I stuffed my back so I know I’m slowly getting there
    B) Did singles (still have the bruises from last week!) and got 65 singles into the 3rd round. DU’s are something I really have to work on. Was happy with the sit ups did them unbroken.

  19. A: 180kg. PB by 10kg.

    B: 6.15. Very happy with that effort. Another PB.

  21. 1RM Deadlift: 100 kg. I thought it was amazing until I saw what everyone else was lifting! I think the last deadlift I did was 5 reps at 65 kg, so at least I definitely beat my PB.

    “Annie”: Couldn’t do this one properly due to cramping calf muscles and a tailbone injury. Started out on single skips, but had to switch to squats (for same reps as double-unders) after the first 118. Reverse situps instead of regular. Completed 40-30-20-10 in 7:51.

  22. Deadlift 1RM was only 105 today. Previous pb was 110.

    Annie in 9.14 (previous time is 8.34).

    Although heavy deadlifts and Annie is one of my ideal training days, I think I was still pretty shattered after a long and tiring weekend and was just not firing on all cylinders.
