Have a great time @ the BBQ Adapt crew all – Lis & I send our apologies this time round. Bummed to miss it.
A) 45kg – felt good.
B) 5 rounds + 1 single muscle up with a 35kg bar and scaled down rings. That 12 minutes felt like and hour. Hard work
A: 35kg
B: 7 rounds neat @25kg. No rings available so subbed for kipping pullups — otherwise I *so* would have done muscle-ups
A: only 25kg, not sure why. should’ve gone heavier. very confused about that actually, don’t know what happened there :S
B: 25kg, 4 rounds + 6 jerks of the 5th round. wrists were hurting a lot with this one and fatigued pretty quickly, have ridiculous collar bone bruises from being lazy towards the end in catching the bar in the rack position and just smacking the bar back down instead. ouch. lesson learnt. needed to be quicker with my jerks. was very slow in everything today. scaled muscle ups to just moving through the progressions with lowered rings.
Hope the BBQ was good & hope Sean kicked ass at the comp!

B) Dropped to 40kg for this, muscle-ups scaled to high progression on the rings (highest I’ve done so far). Last round of muscle ups was intense – Thanks to Pete & Sean for the support.
Completed 4 Rds + 3 Muscle-Ups & 2 Push Jerks
Oh and thanks again to Rosey & Renee (& the Adapt crew for organising) last night, plus everybody for the delicious food that was served up. Great night & so many ideas on some new recipes!
