A. Hit 65kg on push press. Failed on the 3rd rep twice. My transition from the dip and push needs to be a lot faster and powerful. I think I was doing more of a strict press and thats why I was fatiguing early.
Tabata was pretty good, needs moar burpees! o.O
33kg for 3RM push press, new pb, hooray!
Used 5kg dumbells for the Tabata (so 10kg total)
The thoracic spine mobilisation with the lacrosse ball worked insanely well, don’t think I’d been doing it right before (hadn’t been doing it so it hurt), made a massive difference when we tested it out. I don’t think my back has felt this good in a long time. Definitely doing this one more regularly.
Was stoked to hit a 3 x 110kg push press new PB by 5kg. Need to work on more of a squat press than a knees over my toes press.
Tabata mash up : got a nice sweat on, abs need abit of work.
Loved all the sessions this week, felt pretty much ruined after every workout. Good work guys!!
37kg on Push Press – I kept failing on 40kg, just didn’t feel strong this morning.
Tabata mash up was good fun, good to give the abs a workout.
I’ve loved the programming this week, it’s absolutely killed me. I can only imagine the fun that awaits me tomorrow :0)
Got 2 @ 55kg. Third didn’t happen. This is what I did last time so number 3 must be close.
Tabata mash up with 10kg dumbells. Squat jumps hurt the most and I think one of my shoulders is a different colour now.
I find the lacrosse balls keep my whole shoulder loosened up. I used to always have tightness between the neck and shoulder and had to take heaps of anti-inflammatory meds but haven’t had to touch them for months. Can you order some in and I’ll buy 2!
A: 2@70 failed on third, it’s there just confidence under the weight
B: 10kg bells, lowest rep 8
C: 40 tyre rows
D: death by prowler, so close to completing 6 minutes, off by 2x10m runs
Finished with it being able to walk down stairs, big props to Sam and Ewan who finished the full 6 minutes. Big effort well done lads
You and Sam actually did it for 9 minutes. You sell yourself short Johnny. Well done!
9 minutes?! No wonder I couldn’t walk yesterday.
A) 3 x 55kg
B) Nice mash-up! Push-Press dropped the most (16 to 8), squats from 10 to 6 and V-Ups went up – Maintained 14 until last 3 rounds going up to 19 in the last!
Got up to 40 kg on push-press, but couldn’t complete 3 in a row, failed on the third each time.
Tabata – 5 kg dumbbells, min numbers were 7, 5 & 10.
