  1. A. Felt good, although im still coming to terms with split jerking, i feel like im improving.
    B. Loved this ! Finished around the 14min mark cant remember exactly because i was pretty gassed haha, as usual was great to see the support that everyone gave each other to finish, its a real highlight of training at Adapt.

  2. Liking the variety of the classes this week. It’s been great!
    A) Worked at 30kg – Still gotta focus on toes straight and knees out on the front squat.

    B) HSPUs substituted for pike/box push-ups & 30kg snatch – 12:56 finish. HSPUs are a goal I gotta work on, hopefully shoulder is up for the challenge!

    Then a social/work get together with Annie (no time) & a 5 minute version of Chelsea before a rowing tabata.

  3. Those shoulder stretches this morning have left me with some sore muscles… gotta work on flexibility.

    A) Worked it up to 35kgs – didn’t push it weight wise, just nailing technique which I think is coming along.

    B) 16.55 with scaled down box push ups and a 35kg snatch.

    Good session.

    A: I was using a 15kgs bar for these. I need to get the footing right and I’ll be more balanced. I think this will help pull it together for me.

    B: Running is killing me. I need to start doing sprints once a week. My time was just over 20 minutes. I did girly push-ups, but tried to do a few real ones, I think I got in three real ones. 17kgs for the snatch.

    I’m not feeling any soreness other than normal soreness that would be expected from starting to workout the right way again. I’m loving the shoulder rehab, it’s burning just right!

  5. A: worked at 30kg, nice to stay light and focus on tech. Things to focus on: more shrugging/straight arms in second pull, getting under bar/into squat quicker.

    B: 15:33, HSPU scaled to pike push-ups from box (elbows in much harder than elbows out, and I couldn’t manage many that way — thanks Ben :P ) and 25kg snatches. Running and snatches felt good, next time I should go a bit heavier on the snatches (27.5kg or 30kg?)

  6. A: 50 kg working on form and the movements, the shoulder stretch was mad and opened up range of movement

    C: 17:39 Kipping hSPU with 45 kg snatches I have never completed more than 3 sets of 3, this morning cranked out 40! So frikken cool.

  7. A: C&J practice @ 40 kg
    B: Forgot to write the time down, but I think it was under 18 min. Scaled HSPUs to pike pushups on a box. Snatch @ 50 kg – running 800m after heavy snatches was tough.
