  1. My first reaction to this when I walked in was “Oh so thats what the filthy is”

I think I did ok on this one, I actually was on the Rx weight for everything and the only scaling I did was step ups on the box and no jumping on burpees. I think there was about 4 knees to chest instead of elbows at the end of the 50. Also Coach B did call me on my back extensions, the nub I was was doing them wrong for the first 38 of them. So I’ll take that in all fairness. I at least did the last 12 right!

I failed to finish in the 30 min time limit and got into about 6 burpees.

A big thank you to whoever it was who was giving me some encouragement from the back extensions until the finish. I’m normally good with names, but by then I really had no idea where I was or what I was even doing :)

It was a good first experience for this WOD. Big props to those who finished.

  2. That was filthy. Stoked to complete it but.

31:45 with Rx everything except for the scaled down K2E, lighter yellow wall ball & 15kg bar push press.

(…though putting that way makes it sound like I scaled down a lot :S)

  3. Not on fire today. Like everyone else suffering mildly from some sort of flu. Few K2E weren’t legit, shoulder still cant do it without pain.
10 seconds slower than last time. Disappointing. Positive – no rests on burpees managed to get one slow rep out at a time. A mental win.
    28:10

  4. Ouch x 50. Glad to finish in time and happy that I scaled… Think i chose the right amounts as time showed.
    Finished 29:38 i think.
    Box jumps onto 20″ box.
Scaled to 12kg kettlebell.. Will rx next time.
K2E were the deciding limit for me. The 1 exercise that I can’t just push through slowly (like burpees).
Wall balls scaled to blue/ 14 pd.
Burpees were timed to Kristy.. Who probably didn’t know she pushed me through them Haha.
And thanks to Annie for the boost to finish the double unders!
Great session and awesome results all around!

    • Awesome job on this workout, I am sorry for yelling at you when you had an injury though!

      • Haha, who hits themselves in the face with a skipping rope anyway? I deserved to be yelled at!
and it helped me make it in time!!

  5. Michael Honey says:

31:10, K2E more like K2triceps. That’s a tough grind. The wallballs made me look forward to the burpees, which is saying something.

  6. 31:52, K2E as high as I could get them, mostly to triceps with some elbows at random intervals. Kettlebell swings @ 12kg. Wallballs and K2E were slowwww.

  7. 24:32 RX again double unders the limiter and trying to catch Sascha, man he’s quick, nice time mate

Awesome to see so many people in the gym this morning hanging it all out. awesome.

    • Haha back to front 24:23

And so many super fast times, Ben, Rosey, Erik, Simon smashing it.

      • Wouldn’t have done it without your encouragement – thanks. Well done to everyone who pushed their bodies and minds to the limit!

  8. 29:10 rxd. I wish I could have kept up with Rosey a bit better. He managed to get off the ghd before I got to super mans and coach B put me on it. My hamies blew up! Glad to finish and will improve next time! Congrats to Rosey for blitzing it!

  9. Wow first time on this slow but I finished it off anyway 34.14, rxd minus knees to elbow, subbed in situps as when I do these I get an uncomfortable click/ popping sound form my back hip…ok for a few not smart for 50…. I nearly gave it all up on wall balls… My body was saying stop stop nope you can’t do this…. At 15 I changed my thoughts to, I can do this just get 5 at a time then ten at a time and somehow I finally got to 50 same goes for the burpees so slow bate piping up and down:(… It was really tough doing it on my own. Thanks to the peeps who cheered me on for the last burpees:)

  10. Burpees… Stepping up and down

  11. Well did this
modified – K2E – did situps, pullups did ring pulls instead and skipped back extensions and push press due to injury.
Good workout, thanks to Ben for a busy class. time wasnt relevant to me but I think it was 31.
    thanks muchly :)

  12. 33:54

Scaled: KB swings to shoulder height, K2E became knees up for most reps and Burpees with step ups.

Wow! This is an epic WOD. Thanks to all the guys that gave me encoragement through the burpees and DUs – I really neded it. This WOD left me with a lot to think about. I need to work on endurance (mental and physical) and start stringing together more reps rather than singles. Hope to get under 30 minutes and Rx next time.

  13. When I saw the workout I seriously considered sneaking out of the gym on Saturday morning…..
Finished at about 28:35 i think – cannot believe I actually finished! Although I didn’t do back extensions (was not allowed). My K2E ended up being – just lift those damn legs in the air somewhere! For the first time in history I actually liked the double unders – got 12 in a row – PB….. should do them more often when I am completely knackered!
Great work to EVERYONE on Saturday!
