  1. Man-makers; more like Man-breakers. That was hard – didn’t even make it to 4 rounds!

    • I beleive Ball Breakers might be the name…
      Don’t let Sean’s puppy eyes fool ya cuz he can still dog ya to his heart’s content.

  2. A: @ 50kg – failed rep 9 & had a few other ugly ones in there

    B: @ 60kg

    C: Completed 4th round – not pretty

    • Sean also looked like a man who was very pleased with himself for coming up with that workout

  3. A-@ 25kg – lost form towards the end
    B- 2 rounds at 25kg 1 round at 30kg
    C-3 rounds + 10 push press & 3 man-makers – not nice but a good challenge

  4. A) 5 @ 40kg & 5 @ 45kg-
    B) 65kg
    C) Got 3 man makers into round 4.

    A: 25kg. Really enjoy EMOTM volume training — it’s great to concentrate on form and have a enough time to think through corrections for the next rep. Thanks to Sean for coaching: small adjustments make all the difference.

    B: 25kg, 30kg, 35kg, probably should have started on 35kg.

    C: finished 5 push-presses in 5th round. PP @ 25kg, DBs @ 8kg. Reminded of the olde Chapman oval days when Sean used to make us do laps between sets of man-makers. Such fun ;)

  8. A: 35kg. Fail, fail, pass x 8 (some needed 2nd attempt). Work on not leaning forward too much when dropping under bar.
    B: 3×10 @50kg.
    C: 3 rounds + 1 push press. Props to Louisa for finishing all 5 rounds, with 9 secs to spare!

  9. Open Gym:

    1 RM Clean & Jerk – 75 kg
    4 x 5 weighted pullups @ 12 kg
    1 x HSPU on the minute – 6 rounds
