Wow that WOD looks like fun….
Travel WOD #2
3 rnds for time:
400m run
30 x 35kg over head squat
10 strict pull ups
16:38
Legs are cooked
A: 3 x 5 @ 150kg – not working to my max – still recovering from early week issues
B: got up to 11 HSPU’s – got to HSPU’s with plenty of time left but then my arms decided they no longer wanted to be attached to my body, let alone assisting me with moving up and down
I had the same dilemma but it started around the 3rd burpee- hehe
Today should not have been titled “3×5 B/S” but instead- “How to put the SUCK into the start of your day!” 70 Burpees……
A) 110kg- Bit flat after yesterdays Front squats
B) Timed out (no surprises there) at 4 HSPU. But pleased with solid form developing on kips.
A) 70kgs (PB for me!)
B) DNF but feel pretty good with my results – got as far as 14 off-the-box push ups with the following scale downs:
Kips instead of PU’s + off the box instead of HSPU.
Feeling it when I move already
A) 50kgs – PB
B) DNF – had 2 push ups to go (though wussed out and did them from the knees). I can’t express how much I dislike burpees.

snuck a workout in at work
A: 1×5 @ 70kgs 2×5 @ 65kgs
B: 3×5 press @ 32.5kgs
C: beep test. much better than burpees.
A: 40kg – while this weight sucks I’m really happy because it is the first time I have been able to squat any weight in a month. Seems a conversation with Sean last night about it was all I needed to kick start the healing.
B: 3×5 press @32.5kg
C: 3×5 pull ups (no strength for weight today).
D: Hollow rocks
A: 95 kg – stayed at my PB weight after a couple of weeks away.
B: Got to 30 pullups
A. Up 5kg from last 3×5 BS to 80kg, felt like I could do more, but chest was starting to drop, thanks to Sean for keeping me honest
B. With scaled burpees (no jump), 16kg KB and ring rows, just made it to the first 3 HSPU on a box.
A: 50/50/45kg, dropped back on last set to focus on back positioning/knees.
B: Holy. Smoke. Made it to 12 pike push-ups from box. Kipping pull-ups slow going — down to 2/1 at a time by the end.
A: 3×5 @ 85kg, pretty solid. Did 80kg a couple of weeks ago, will go up next time to 90.
B: Whoa. Got to 4 HSPU, with a couple of failed attempts. Only did a 20kg KB: my ex-dislocated finger hates kettlebells but it’s getting better.
A: 35kg. Wasnt well, did 10kg lower than last week.
B: Got to 10 Pushups
A: 3×5 @ 105kg
B: 16:05 Rx’d. Awesome fun working alongside Sascha. He brings out the best in me.
